Cedarcrest Manor is nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac just one block west of Main Street (Hwy. 48), right in the heart of Markham Village. Its location combines the serenity of a country road with all the conveniences of pharmacies, medical offices, retail, banks, coffee shops, restaurants, churches and other amenities just a short walk away.

Cedarcrest Manor sits on a lovely, treed property with shaded landscaped areas and even a furnished gazebo, where one can relax with friends in the open air on warm, sunny days. The Tannery Pond nature preserve is right next door, with its boardwalk winding through a secluded glade.

The Markham Community Bus stops right at Cedarcrest Manor’s font door hourly. It can take you directly to Markham Stouffville Hospital and the Markville Shopping Centre. And it connects with the TTC for convenient trips into the City of Toronto. For people with special needs, York Region Transit has a mobility bus service available.

Adjoining Cedarcrest Manor is the Markham Seniors’ Activity Centre, operated by the Older Adults In Action organization and supported by the City of Markham’s Department of Parks and Recreation. The Seniors’ Centre hosts a range of activities, gatherings and amenities for OAIA members. Cedarcrest Manor residents can access the Centre from inside the building.

Cedarcrest Manor also has a recreation room we call the Family Room and a Library. The Family Room is a large, open hall complete with audio-visual equipment and a fully-equipped kitchen. Tenants can reserve the Family Room for private functions. The Library is a quiet, furnished space where residents can read a good book, play board games and chat with friends.
